User Back End on Site?

  • Hi!

    I have a client who’s asked if I can create a user interface on the back end of their site. Basically they want to store pertinent files for users on the back end of the site rather than in Google Drives. Can anyone suggest a plug in or good way to do this?

    Hi there,

    When you say an interface on the back end, are you referring to the Admin Dashboard? If so, you could use a plugin such as File Manager which will allow you to create directories and upload files to that directory, or whatever you need done.

    My client owns a business that they’ve franchised and they want their franchisees (who are spread all across the country) to be able to login to the website to access important files and information. Maybe the back end is not the best descriptor. I guess I’m just looking for suggestions for a plug-in or best practice for creating a space on the site that these franchisees can log in to.

    File Manager could be the answer but I’m wondering if there are any other suggestions. The folks I’m working with are not very good at tech related things so it needs to be super easy!

    Currently, all their files are kept in Google Drives and they’re wanting to streamline it as they bring on more franchisees and team members so that it’s easy. Any suggestions based on all that info? Thank you for your time and advice!
