user blogreel with MU and Buddypress

  • Hi,

    I am using Buddypress and my goal is to have individual blogs for users. I have already set up MU. I want to be able to have a blogreel for each user so that when you are on a users profile page (activity section), it shows their blog posts as opposed to the Buddypress default which says “user” wrote a blog on “users site”. It would essentially look like an RSS Feed.

    Speaking of RSS feed I was thinking maybe I could use this plugin so I could pull the users RSS feed from their individual blog site and put it on their profile page (on the root website)? Anybody familiar with this?

    I appreciate any help.

    Don’t pull in RSS feeds from other sites on the same network. That’s a short road to crashing your site.

    Have you asked at buddypress.org if it’s possible to format the BuddyPress feed that way?
