  • You should be able to solve this by using the WP mail SMTP plugin.

    I don’t think the plugin works. The problem is wp_mail() function didn’t handle $headers properly, not SMTP or mailer’s problem.

    @kirin lin did you actually try it ?

    I realize that you don’t need SMTP, however WP mail SMTP *does* handle does the problem header (return-path) correctly while wp_mail() does not. Which is why it should help you to solve your issue and why I advised you to try it….
