User Can register without completing Payment

    Hello, I am looking for some help with the Plugin: Quick Event Manager! It seems that on an event that requires payment, a user can register without completing the Paypal Payment. I verified that “Register without payment” is not set and Paypal is enabled with a cost. However, a user can click “Register and Pay”, then abandon the Paypal screen, and that user then appears under registered users on the event. Am I missing a setting?

    Hi sorry I missed your question.

    Yes you are missing some settings.

    When an user registered it creates an attendee record.

    If you set up PayPal IPN ( you need a PayPal business account – which is free ) then the attendee record will be marked as ‘pending’. Once payment is completed and confirmed by PayPal (Instant Payment Notification – IPN ) the attendee is marked completed.

    Optionally – you can set it so if they start paying but abandon, then after two hours they are removed from the attendee list and emailed to say their payment failed.

    You can also ‘hide’ unpaid attendees.

    These settings are all on the Payment Tab

    Additionally, you can set the autoresponder to NOT reply immediately, but only after confirmed payment.
