  • My users complaints that they cannot upload an image.

Did you test yourself to find out if it’s an issue at the user’s end, or a general problem on your website?

For what its worth, I just tried creating an account on your site, and I was able to upload an image with no problem.

I have many users complaint of the same issue.

It shows spinning image when they upload, and it does not show upload success.

I have put many advertisement for users to sign up, it shows 0 users register when the photo is required.
When i remove it, till now around 15 users signed up.
Thus i believe many users cannot sign up due to image failure.

    Please kindly advise

I have shown you how I signed up and uploaded a photo with no problem.

I asked you if you are able to do the same. You did not respond to that.

I manage hundreds of WordPress sites for clients and I’ve not encountered any such issue.

I’m not denying that you have a problem, but it’s also not necessary because of a defect in WordPress. We need to isolate the common thread between those who can upload and those who cannot upload. Then you can know where to look for a solution.

So, again, are YOU able to upload a photo while creating an account?

Yes I can upload from side.

I have asked all the users directly.
Some of them can, some of them cannot

It may be due to image size, hosting problem(I am not sure), php problem.

OK, thanks for the further information.

Now let’s check your webserver and PHP log files to see if any error messages show up there. If you don’t have any access to logs and can’t get it from your host, let’s turn on WordPress’s own debugging and collect some logs.

    Here’s a helpful guide:

    Debugging in WordPress

After turning on debugging, kindly ask a few of your users who are unable to upload images to try again, and check any relevant error messages you see.

    UPDATE:

Just a quick thought: have you also confirmed your user’s images are less than your max upload limit of 1MB? I would even suggest you send an image that you know is less than 1MB to one of your users and ask them to test with it, as a decade of tech support has taught me you simply cannot trust everything a user tells you ??

I just want to add that, while I’m willing to help you troubleshoot this, you’re far more likely to get quicker help if you contact the developer of your theme (or plugin) that offers this functionality. The developer knows his/her code inside and out, and can immediately tell you what might be going on and recommend a quick fix.
