USER Comments not showing up

Thank you for choosing to use this plugin. Do you have this variable in the emails or results pages:

%COMMENT_SECTION% – the text the user entered into the quiz comment section

Yes and yes, its on both email and results page.

Alright. The option that you referred to, is it the “Would you like a place for the user to enter comments?” that you have set to “Yes”? Also, what is the %COMMENT_SECTION% variable replaced with on your results page and emails?

On the results email the text %USER_COMMENTS% is displayed. The survey is at https://troop44bushkill.org/troop-44-parent-survey/ email me for the password so you can see it. [email protected]

I’ve unselected Would you like a place for the user to enter comments? and just added a question for now with a comment block since I was missing the results from those who already took the survey. Not sure if that data is lost forever or store somewhere.

The %USER_COMMENTS% cannot be used on the results page. That is for the comments with a question if enabled when editing a question. That variable is used in the %QUESTIONS_ANSWERS% variable which can be customized on the Text tab.

The %COMMENT_SECTION% is what is required for using on the results page or emails to display comments gathered using the “Would you like a place for the user to enter comments?” option. The comments gathered from that option should still be shown when viewing the results from the Admin page labelled “Results” in the Quizzes/Surveys menu.

Ok, so I’m a bit confused by the response. Here’s what I have set up.

In the email tab sent to user and admin.

In the results tab I have:

%COMMENT_SECTION%
