user comments without moderation

  • Hi,
    What can I do so that users can leave comments without me having to moderating them? (I can always delete them once they’re posted)
    I unchecked “An administrator must approve the comment (regardless of any matches below)” in the disussion options, so are comments still held for moderation?

  • No. Your readers’s comments will show up right after they’ve clicked “post.”

    ? yes, that’s what I want. But it will show up only to them with a message saying it’s awaiting moderation. Other users wont see it.

    Oh, I forgot one other thing: Deselect the “Comment author must have a previously approved comment.” This will allow new and existing posters to see their comments right away. Hope this helps. ??
