Hello Joshuahobby,
Sorry for the problem with the users and the permissions issue. Are you using a plugin that can prohibit access to certain pages? I tried to re-create this issue by protecting the landing page that a user gets after logging in (a non-admin user). It does not give me the same error message. In fact, it does not do this in either a post or page. My subscriber user gets a message, “Oops! That page can’t be found”. I think that the problem is that the page that your user defaults to is not allowing access to anyone but an administrator level user. Make sure the permissions are provided for the first page that users sees when they login – whether it be a Post or a Static page. If you’re using a plugin for security, you need to make sure that the first page viewed when people login is providing sufficient access for your users.
I hope this helps! Let us know if you continue to have problems with the login. If you do, please provide us information about plugins you’re using and the exact steps we can take to duplicate the issue.
Regards,
Arnel C.
