User current location

I have bought the G-Store Locator, really good plug in, but I have a few questions I need answered, others may be having the same issues.
1. When the store locator page is launched, it also scrolls down to the plug-in and misses the important information I have to read before the plug-in. It also automatically defaults to a random location in the search field, not my current or the users location. Is it possible to change the location to detect the users current location or to have it blank. Lots of clients have said that these points are not very user friendly. I would have thought these things would be as standard.
2. How do I change the pin for each category? I have managed to change the basic google pin to a client logo pin, but ideally want a different pin for each of my categories.
