User Delete Account and Update Password Not Working

    Hello. I am using Ultimate Member for user accounts. I have used a template to rework the account page, and the Delete User and Update password options do not work, they just refresh the account page. I have tried clearing the cache, disabling my template and styles, deleting all plugins except Ultimate Member and reverting to Twenty Seventeen theme to test the plugin, and still have the same result. I have tried deleting the plugin and restalling it. Any help is appreciated!

    I am using 2.0.29 and this issue doesn’t appear to be resolved. Users still cannot delete their accounts or update their password in the accounts section.

    I am having a similar issue with version 2.0.29. Users cannot delete account and cannot change password. (It looks like they should work, but nothing happens.)

    Hello, the same issue – 2.0.35.

    Really you need to fix it asap.

    The delete account issue I had has recently been fixed.

    Basically, on my website some custom code changes had been manually made to the theme (specially to the file functions.php). When these were reversed out the delete account issue was fixed. Ultimate Member support were helpful and guided me to find the issue.

    You can see if it is something related to your theme by switching to the basic wordpress theme, e.g. “twenty seventeen”. If this solves to problem then consider any manually changes you may have made to the theme.

    Also, the impression I get is that it is safer to follow the way Ultimate Member is intended to work rather than try and do anything fancy with custom code.

    Hello, I also have problems deleting users.

    I deleted a user in the admin, but the person has still access to the website and can see his account. The problem now is that the user don’t have the permission to delete his own account (even if I checked the box in Role permission) + I can’t delete the account because the user is no more in Users in wp-admin.

    I don’t know how to delete the account now. I cleared the cache many times but no changes…
