    Hello,

    I am thinking about providing feeds depending on specific users and wondering if there is a chance to realize it comfortably with this plugin. The source tag in the shortcode is only working with the source ID numbers that I can’t influence.

    My idea so far is to detect the logged-in user’s name and set this as source in the shortcode so it would take the source with that name. I’m so deep in the understanding of the programming to have an impression if this would be somehow possible.

    I’m looking forward for any advice or suggestions.

  • Hi @jandieckmann,

    It sounds like you are trying to create Feed Sources that only show to specific users, this is not a default function of the Plugin or add-ons. I would suggest looking for a membership plugin that allows shortcodes behind the tiered membership to detect which username is allowed to see the content. We cannot recommend any membership plugin at this time, you will need to discover this yourself or you may ask the WordPress community if there are any compatible for this type of setup.
