    Hi Support,

I am using OTHER SMTP. Can I use other email address (different domain) from SMTP Host for the “From Email Address” ? For example, on my SMTP Host is smtp.abc.com, SMTP Username is [email protected], and my “From Email Address” I wanted to set as [email protected]. Can it be done?

    Please advise, many thanks.

    Hey @samuelng527,

That depends on your SMTP host. Some will allow you to use a different From address, while most will not. I’ve not yet come across a web host that will allow that with their SMTP connections. You might want to check out SMTP2Go if you’re going to connect with an SMTP connection. Otherwise, Sendinblue is a pretty popular service that we have a built-in mailer for. Sendinblue will let you change your From email to any address.

Check out this guide in our documentation. It walks through setting up a connection to Sendinblue, and includes screenshots of each step in the process: https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-the-sendinblue-mailer-in-wp-mail-smtp/

I hope that helps! Have a great day!
