• We are getting a few users who, after successfully creating an account and logging in to the site have placed an order (woocommerce) and on completion have tried to logout. At this point they are sent to a Wordfence page that tells them that they’re temporarily locked out. Their IPs do not appear under the block list and their accounts seem operational but they cannot then navigate to the website as normal and remain logged in.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @edigital,

Can you go into Wordfence -> All Options -> Brute Force Protection, and disable the option Prevent the use of passwords leaked in data breaches?

I think the reason is because when the new accounts are created, the passwords used are too weak.

Can you also let me know what are the login/logout URLs on your website? For example, /wp-login.php and /wp-login.php?action=logout

    Thanks Dave

Not sure that is likely to be the reason as all passwords are forced strong, however we’ll test this. Login url is https://eurekavideo.co.uk/my-account/

Unfortunately, not only did this not work but now I am receiving the same block message on trying to logout and i am unable to log out at all (user stays in logged in despite the temporary block message. Repeated logout attempts simply brings up the message but does not log user out).
