    Greetings!

    I have just purchased the subscription and installed the latest version of Ultimate Member along with some the extensions I need. For one reason or another, users are able to edit any visible field on their profile. My admins and moderators should be able to edit the fields, users however should not be able to do so.

    I have made sure to grant the users edit permissions for their profiles.
    I have made sure to uncheck the user can edit in the secured fields.

    See screenshots below. Any help would be appreciated.

    Sorry for the late response. Do the visibility settings work for non-file uploader fields? Could you please confirm what version of UM you’re using? The latest version is 2.3.0

    I can confirm I am using version 2.3.0.

    I can also confirm the visibility settings are working NOT correctly for non-file uploader fields. I have a basic text field that should be noneditable by members, same issue.

    I’ve had to resort to making pre-populated fields displayed in view mode only to prevent people from changing those for now.

    Could you please provide screenshots of the uploader field and text field settings in the Profile Form Builder? You can upload the screenshots via imgur.com and then share the image URLs here so we can review them.

    Could you please try the latest version 2.3.1? We have fixed the issue with the File Uploaders field’s privacy settings. Let us know if you’re still encountering issues after the update.
