User failed to login

  • Hello All,
    I have been receiving emails like this:

    From: WordPress [mailto:[email protected]]
    Sent: Saturday, July 11, 2015 4:46 PM
    To: Name
    Subject: [Website Name] User failed to login

    Username: admin
    IP: 91.200.12.00
    Time: July 11, 2015 4:45 pm
    User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0

    How do I disable from getting these type of emails? Thanks.

  • It sounds like you may have a security plugin that logs activity on the site (i.e. WordFence, iThemes Security, etc.). If that is in fact the case, you should be able to turn off notifications in the plugin settings.
