Currently when a user submits his/her email address (which occurs via ajax) there is no feedback to say the submission is in process – feedback only occurs when the subscription request has been successfully submitted, which can take a number of seconds.

Is this a bug? If not may I submit this as a feature request?

My suggestion would be that clicking the button puts it into a disabled state with its value changed to say “submitting…”

    Thanks.

    Hi Jake,

This is not a bug per se, but rather an oversight, due to my AJAX ignorance, when I originally developed the plugin. ??

Great suggestion for an improvement – I appreciate it! I am adding it to the 1.0.5 version, which I’m in the midst of developing now.

    Thanks,
    Devon

    Hi Jake,

This one is also included in Post Notif v1.0.5. Thanks for the suggestion – it also inspired a bit of improvement to the “Send Post Notif” AJAX action as well.

    Thanks,
    Devon
