User filters?

  • I was wondering if there is a plugin so that you could have user filters? Basically, just like the filters you can have on livejournal. Where you can pick who sees what by adding them to the specific filter list and if they aren’t on it, they don’t see the post. I tried searching so I doubt one exists. I’m hoping one does though and it’s hidden somewhere…

    I’m using the viewlevel plugin, which works great. But it’s hard for me to figure out which user levels everyone should have to give them access to only the posts I want them to see. It would be a lot easier to just have the specific topic filters instead of the broad user level access.

    The Limit Categories plugin might work if it would apply to post viewing instead of the editing aspect. Like user levels 3, 5 and 6 can see b,c, g categories and levels 9, 1 and 2 can see categories a, d, e. Something like that…
