User gets immediately logged out after logging in

    We are working on a new site where we need to ensure that accounts are well protected. As a 2FA plugin yesterday morning I installed this one, and I enforced 2FA for the admin group, with a 3 day grace period. In the evening I observed, that all members of the admin group, which had 2FA enabled were not locked, so they were able to log in, but they got immediately kicked when clicking any further link in the dashboard. In the end, because I was locked out myself, I had to disable the plugin in the database to bring things back to normal.

    I assume that there is some interplay with another installed plugin going on. Unfortunately, at this stage of development I cannot just disable them all, so I chose another TOTP plugin where there doesn’t seem to be any such problem.

    I’d like to find out how this was resolved. I’m experiencing the same issue. After being logged in for some time. If I’m working in a post and I’m in the post for some time, when I try to click on the same post from the posts list, it takes me to 2FA code entry page over and over. I have to clear my browser cache or open in incognito window in order to make it not redirect to the 2FA code entry page repeatedly.

    Your issue might be caused by a different problem, so please first check if the issue persists on the latest update that we released yesterday, 1.7.1, and if it still occurs please open another thread in this forum or send us an email at support at wpwhitesecurity dot com.
