User gets logged out after password change

Hello!

I’m not using WordPress’ profile page, but instead, one that I created. However, once the user has updated their password. The next page they go to within WordPress gets redirected to wp-login.php?redirect_to=whereever/they/came/from.

I’d like for this not to happen. I assume there is a check happening somewhere with the stored password in $current_user->data->user_pass and with the Database? or something like that?

Can anyone shed any light?
