User Getting Error When Trying to Add Results

Users are getting “could not determine an age category . Please check again or select age category below” error even though they have a DOB in their profile already. This happens whether they are trying to add an event or trying to find an existing one. They have tried adding an age category before the event name as well. Any reasons for this error or how it can be fixed?
