The plugin should be installed on the sites which SEND the posts. The servers you then add to the plugin configuration are the sites which you want to RECEIVE the posts.

Therefore in your case you’d need the plugin installed on both talkingaboutmenshealth.com and parentsatplay.com with the details of mrdad.com in the configuration of them both. This would mean that specified posts on each of those sites would get sent to the mrdad.com site as you want.

I am planning to overhaul the readme, help and instructions for the plugin as I’m aware they are currently a little lacking. In the meantime if you have any other questions then do let me know.

I do have another few questions. When configuring the address to send the posts to (from the remote host), do I put in just the main website address (mrdad.com) or the category where I want the incoming posts to go (https://www.mrdad.com/category/blog-2/). Also, is there a way to set it up so that when new syndicated posts hit the receiving site, they come in as drafts so I can manually decide whether/where to put them?

You just need to put the main website address — in this case mrdad.com — and the categories will behave as set up in the plugin itself (ie. will be transmitted or not).

There currently isn’t a way to have posts arrive as drafts on the recieving blog, but it’s certainly something I’d like to implement on a server-by-server basis in the not-distant future.

Hi again–sorry about the rookie questions,

I set up syndicate out on the two blogs I want to send from, identifying https://www.mrdad.com/ as the Address, “All posts” to Syndicate, and “All post categories” to Transmit. Nothing is showing up at mrdad.com from either of the two sending sites. I’m I doing something wrong? And how will the plugin know where to receive the incoming posts?
