User import/export

  • Could this functionality be built into the wordpress backup under tools/export? It’s really useful and there are no plugins that I can find that work easily and smoothly.

    Is there not a tools/export by default? I also would like to see a site backup as well — I know there are many plugins but I find it difficult to find one that works all the way through.

    Sorry? You asked about building user import/export into the “wordpress backup”, yes? Only there is no core “WordPress backup”. Are you perhaps using a backup plugin?

    I meant tools/export. I believe that is core.

    The Import option was removed from WP core a few versions back and made into an optional plugin instead. Is that what you are referring to?
