• Hi! The problem I am struggling with for the past day is that whenever I make a new user and log in, then the logged in state stays only in certain pages. Front page for example, I am logged out, contact page I am logged in. What could be causing this?

I can see that im logged out because of the black bar on top of the page.
Could anyone suggest anything that could fix this?

  • Hi there,

It’s possible your theme or plugin disables the logged in bar on some pages (if you visit /wp-admin and it shows you logged in, then you are, regardless if the wp admin bar is shown on the front end of your website).

You can also check for caching plugins that may prevent showing an updated page with admin bar after you successfully log in.

    Cheers

Hey, okay thanks for the advice. This could be somekind of cache issue, because in other browsers it sometimes works fine. Do you know if wp has a built in caching system ?
