    After updating the plugin on my staging site, I’m seeing email activation is no longer working. My default user role is customer, and it is set to require email activation. I’ve fully deleted my customer user account, and in a new browser create an account with the same email. Back in the admin it immediately says approved, but gives an option to send the activation email. Is anyone else experiencing this? This would be unacceptable in my live environment.

    Hello @amperandsand

    The “customer” role is not the default role in the Ultimate Member plugin. This is the default role in the WooCommerce plugin. Could you clarify how you “create an account with the same email”? Did you use the Ultimate Member registration form or the WooCommerce form?

    Please note that the Ultimate Member role settings are only used when registering via the Ultimate Member registration form. WooCommerce has its own settings, email templates and redirects.
