  • No limit to users. It’s free for up to 10,000,000,000,000,000 users ??

cool thanx ….i dont know what that person was talking about. or maybe i just misunderstood them.
    thanks again!

Can I ask, realistically, how many pages and users I could have on a site without running into issues?

Users – No realistic limit. It scales to many millions, assuming your database is big enough for it. WordPress.com is running the MU version of WordPress with several million user records.

Pages – After a few thousand you start seeing noticable slowdown, due to various inefficiencies in the way Pages work. Realistically, I would not recommend creating thousands of “Pages” in WordPress.

With “Posts”, however, there is no inherent limitation. Make as many as you like.

Hi Otto, thanks very much, good stuff. So a site with a couple of thousand users, each with their own page to load images to would work better if everything was post driven?
