    Hey everyone! This is the first time I’ve run into this issue. I setup an account that’s non-admin and did a quick test login. When I login the error message “Unable to Authenticate” prevents the user from getting any further. Now I tried changing the role and each role gets this same error except for admins (admins login with no problem).

    I’ve searched allover for the “Unable to Authenticate” error, but haven’t found anything entirely pertaining to my issue.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    I turned on error reporting and this line outputs:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_action() in /.../wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 1165

    …which is the wp_dashboard_quota function.

    remove that line and see what happens..copy and paste it back if messing anything up.

    Its on line 1165 @ wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php

    If that doesn’t work put this in its place

    add_action( ‘activity_box_end’, ‘wp_dashboard_quota’ );

    If that doesn’t work just replace with original code and come back
