I have lately seen user attempts to signup and login to my website where they are being sent a verification email with a verification link however the email that the client reciecves from my Houzez Template only provides the user with their login details. This prevents anyone being able to login to my website. I don’t know where to start trying to fix this without removing the Wordfence plugin.

    User Login and Registration

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @johnhedouglas,

Thanks for reaching out.? Wordfence only sends out Verification Required emails if a user fails the reCAPTCHA check during login or registration.? These emails include a link to verify the user to ensure a human made the request and don’t include any login details.? Once the Verify link in the email is followed, the user should be able to log in or register using the details they’d provided initially.

We don’t receive inside information from Google about why a human may sometimes receive a low enough score to always require verification.? You can adjust the reCAPTCHA human/bot threshold score in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings.? You can use the score history chart described below to see the typical scores for your site. If valid users are often blocked by the CAPTCHA, you can set the score lower, to 0.4 or 0.3 if necessary.

    Thanks,
    Margaret

Thank you for this explanation I now understand that the system is working the way it should.
