User name disappears from the images

That’s very strange. But to be of any help, I’d really need quite a lot more detail.

“goes missing” could mean either the entire firstname and lastname columns are not in the Manage Items page or the columns are there, but the name values are blank — which is it? And if the values are blank, is it for all users, or just a few?

And what does the downloaded spreadsheet look like? Does it have the name columns with blank values, or are the columns missing?

Also, you say “every so often” — do you have any idea what would trigger that? Had you edited the layout or the webform between the time when it worked and the time when it didn’t?

Are the first and last names still visible in the User section of the admin area?

You should be able to see the user logins or the wordpress ID’s in Manage Items or in the spreadsheet by selecting them in “Select Items” at the bottom of the layout, the same way you do for firstname and lastname.

When the items are uploaded and I check the Manage entries secrion all the columns are there with the right headings. The file names are there but all the user information is missing. I downloaded the spreadsheet and it too had the missing user information. I had not changed the layout as it was during the time people were eneteringor uploading the images.

However, after about two hours when I downloaded the files the information was there. So I am thinking, one of the database look ups for the user details does not work in my case for some reason intermittently. I have three forms up and all of them had the same problem at the same time.
I am not sure where is the admin area where I can look up the user information, in case I need to get that manually?

Very strange.

I think you may be right about it being a database issue. If you see the filename but not the other data, it sounds as if you are not able to access the contents of the item_data column in the ewz_item table, although you can see other columns.

Perhaps you should contact your webhosting company.
