• Dear admin,
As the user names are generated from their social info, is it possible for members to edit the user name if they don’t like?

After registering with a social site can they log in independently later Or is social login needed each time?

    Thanks
    Abu

    Hi Abu,

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to edit the username after social login. After registering via social login users will receive email to set password to login to your website, if you have enabled Send post-registration email to user to set account password option in Advanced Configuration section at Super Socializer > Social Login page in admin area.

If I have enabled Send post-registration email to user to set account password option in Advanced Configuration section at Super Socializer > Social Login page in admin area
what info will they need to log in after they change the pw? Will social login will work in future log in trial as they already changed their pw on my site? Pls explain it

Social Login won’t interfere with default login/registration process. Your website visitors will receive welcome email as they do when using default login, registration form. The content of that email are same as that of the email sent when using default login.

    Thank you for the reply.
I mean that if user joins using any of the social sites will he need to log in using the same social site every time? Or will they have separate log in for my site after being joined by a social site?

    Thanks
    Abu

When a user uses social login to login to your website, they also receive email regarding the information on how to login using default login form. After that, if they login using that social media account or using the username-password they will end up in the same account at your website. Apart from that, they can link their other social media accounts to the account they just created at your website, using the social account linking icons at user profile page of your website.
