user only can select sub categories

    You can do that with the Restricted Categories extension https://wpadverts.com/extensions/restricted-categories/

    Hi Greg ,

    I found a bug from Restricted Categories extension , Version is :

    1.after I installed Restricted Categories extension, and enable some categories as restriction , when I create custom field in side the categories selection will keep loading cannot showing like before.but it seem like no issue and still can save field but after point 2.

    2. after enable some restriction categories , I created some new field like dropdown or check box , it will display at submission form and classified edit post , but will not showing at listing .after I disable and recreate checkbox or dropdown all will working fine and the categories showing too without loading .

    Hi,
    hmm are you having this problem while adding an add in [adverts_add] or wp-admin or just when editing the form from wp-admin / Classifieds / Options / Custom Fields panel?
