    Hi.

I started trying to get your plugin going a few days ago and so far, love it but now I am completely stuck. When I am logged in and click to my profile page ( https://www.bermuda-americas-cup.com/profile/ ) my profile displays. But when I click my avatar from here (which is linked to a ‘users’ page) I am getting a not found error.

This also happens when you are on the members page ( https://www.bermuda-americas-cup.com/members/ ) and you click any member. The link goes to their ‘user’ page but this page never exists. I cannot find anything in the UM options to ‘create page’ or such.

I was using BuddyPress but found your plugin and wanted to give it a try so I deleted all buddypress files and installed yours. Since I noticed this, I have disabled all other plugins and changed the theme to the default (twenty fourteen). All updates are applied and I am running wordpress version 4.1. Shall I do a re-install of wordpress?

Thank you for any help! From what I see, I really prefer ultimate member to buddypress and I am going to love to figure this out! Thanks again!

  • So I’m receiving a 404 error when I click on my “User” menu tab, so I can review my profile forms display I created. How do I get this to populate my profile form that is front-end editable only to the user subscribed, but profile bio description able to be viewed by other users?

FYI: I’m using “Uploader Advanced Media Sharing Theme” to accomplish these options.

Also Note: I’m not setting the “User” page as a child page at all either.

    Hi whoznet,

We will need to get private info from you so please submit a ticket via our website after the weekend.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I discovered UM and it’s a very nice plugin, promising. I’m still struggling to make it compatible with Polylang though. Polylang is a major choice for internationalization of a website, UM team should seriously consider to ensure compatibility. To us, if this is impossible, we’ll have to revert to other options (i.e. Buddy press).

    Hi Guillaume,

This is something we will try add in future.

    Thanks ??

    Hello All.

    I could overcome this issue.
Go to Polylang Settings and in URL modifications set:

“The language is set from content
Posts, pages, categories and tags urls are not modified.”

This way the ‘team’ part of the url stays shortly after the “<domian.com>/”. The final result is: <domian.com>/team/user-name

    This way it worked fine.

I just wonder the possible trade-offs of this choice in Polylang. Can you guys see something wrong with this option?

am also have same issue :(. try all given solutions but failed. it was working well till 2 days ago.
