Hello, I am setting up a membership site using memberpress and have found that the user password reset email notifications are not working with memberpress installed. the default wordpress email is sent. any ideas on how I can get the 2 to work? I’ve already reached out to memberpress support who said that this isn’t something that they support…

    happy new year!

    Hi @youslippin,
Thanks for your message and Happy New Year too!

If they have a filter to disable their functionality that sends out the notification so that they aren’t overriding it, then you may be able to trigger the one from BNFW. Unfortunately, if they’re overriding it and not allowing the BNFW one to send out, or are setting priorities differently for the notification, there’s not much you can do.

Hello – I am experiencing a similar issue trying to use the Better Notifications plugin. Is there a fix?

    Hi @lindsayk63,
No fix as such – you’d need to contact whoever the plugin author of your membership plugin is to see if there’s a filter you can use to disable their email notification so that BNFW’s can go through.
