User Profile Meta fields not saving on registration

    I have created some new fields for the user profile and they show on the registration form correctly. However, when you register the new account, the new fields are not be saved. It appears the meta tags are not be created at all.

    Could you give us some more information about how these fields were added, are you using integration with BuddyPress perhaps, are they custom coded, or some other way?

    I tried different plugins to create, like cimy and advanced custom fields. Don’t remember the exact combination now. Sorry.

    I switched to a different plugin for registrations and then just have to manually assign memberships.

    Hello @grandmountain

    The Membership 2 plugin is integrated with BuddyPress, you can use only the BudyPress “Extended Profiles” component to add new custom fields to a registration form.

    Activate the BuddyPress Integration add-on fromMembership 2 > Add-ons, this way the BuddyPress registration page will be used instead of the Membership 2 registration page.
    New users are automatically activated by Membership 2 and no confirmation email is sent to the user.
