User profile won’t update

  • The user profile form does not update. The Profile page loads, I can fill in the fields but after that when I click on Update, it will not update. I see that this appears to be a common problem with other web site builders that want to use the profile form also.

    Please fix this.

    We need a little more information. Are you using the “Default Profile Form”? You also want to check if you used “Customize this form” to make sure you are using the correct user role. Under “Customize this form” there is an area “Make this profile form role-specific”. Check to make sure it is set correctly. And one lat area I can think of is in the form itself, is the field set to “Can user edit this field?”
