User profiles

  • Hi all, first post here..

    I’m new to WordPress and I need to develop a web site something like hi5 or Friendster.
    Well I’m kind of getting closer to it thanks to the community developed pluggings.
    Well now I’ have my user profile set up.
    Now I need to allow registered users to manage a image gallery.
    Is there a way to do this? I’m sure there is a way… But is there a plugging for this? gallery2 seems bit complex ??
    Also I need to allow users to comment and rate this images. Well if I can also have videos that would be grate.
    I would also like to write a plugging if there is no any plugging, can any one guide me my way ?
