User receiving two welcome emails – normal WP one and this plugin one

I really like the simplicity of your plugin. It’s really helpful.
I’m running this plugin in a multisite setup. I edited the welcome emails on one of the sub-domain sites. When I register a new user in the admin backend, the user receives two welcome emails – the boring plain text normal WordPress one. And then also the nice HTML one that I set up in your plugin.
Any idea how to solve this? Thanks.
