  • Hi @matureman,

Could you please check the individual form settings and see what’s selected there as a login option? Click on User Registration > All Forms > (your registration form) > Click on Form Settings. And then check if email confirmation is set there or not.

Let me know and I will get back to you. Also please note that you have the latest version of the plugin before you proceed with the steps.

    Regards!

I have the same issue and your response is too general, can you add screen shots? I have no place I can find that says “All Forms”

It is set to what it says under the general settings page, so yes it is saying to need admin approval.

    Hi @matureman,

I am extremely sorry for the delayed response.

I just did the test register to the link that you have provided but it is working fine. When I try login I get the message ” Your account is still pending approval”.

    See the attached screenshot.

If the problem still exists then Please contact our developer team regarding this issue. You can contact them here https://wpeverest.com/contact/ and someone from the team will get back to you.

    Regards!

I’ve just had and solved the issue on my own site – if you are experiencing the same issues, this might help.

On the settings page for [User Registration] [Settings] [General Options], the first option is ‘User login option’ BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU NEED TO FIX.

On the menu click [User Registration] and you will see a list of the registration forms (…or you’ll see the one form that you’ve set up to use, if you’re like me!).

Click to [Edit] that form and along the top you’ll see tabs for [Fields] [Field Options] [Form Setting]. Click [Form Setting].

On the right, you’ll now see ‘User login option’. Adjust as required…

My 2 sites where this plugin is being used are both auto-approving any person who registers. Yes, both are set to “Admin Approval After Registration” in both the settings and the option on the Form.
    The process should be:
-Registration form is filled out by the applicant
-Applicant gets message to click on the link in the received email with the activation key (working fine)
    -Applicant is “Pending” under Users
-Admin is NOT notified (this is fine)
-Applicant gets email and clicks on link to activate application
-Admin is NOW notified that the applicant needs approval (THIS is the part that’s NOT working – the applicant is moved to “approved” and the admin is informed via email after the fact. In the meantime, the applicant can now log on and has full site access)
    -Admin approves applicant (or not)

Getting a tonne of unknown applicants (and now auto-approved users) from Russia and they have no business being on either of these sites. Admin (me) has to go in and un-approve each one, but they have full site access in the interim.

I have two sites that are auto-approving some (not all) registrations. I receive an email whenever someone registers, and I assume they’re pending (as they all should be) but I log in to find others that slipped through straight to approved. Then, I have to go in and manually delete them. Can this be fixed? I don’t know how they do it, because I can’t recreate the issue on the front end.

If your plugin could whitelist one domain and deny all others, that would be very helpful. Then I can eliminate manual approvals. Any chance of adding this in a future update?
