user registration for multisite

  • whenever someone registers to my multisite website they get an email with a verification link (all good) when they click on the link they get a second email with their login details.

    The problem is the email gives the customer their username but the password just says:- password[user set].

    So the email they get says for example

    Username: Dubwarrior
    Password: [user set]

    I want people to have a record of their email and not have to reset their password if they forget

    They don’t get one in email when they set it because they can’t. The password is hashed and salted, and while it’s POSSIBLE to un-do that, it’s a massive security risk (makes it hard to get anyone access to your password, which you want).
