By the way, I am using Contact form 7 for the contact us page. I don’t know if that would make the plugin not work.

    Hi metaco57 ,
    CF7 shouldn’t make a difference, no.

For yourself and those that are still following this thread, can you post a list of all the plugins that you have active on your site?
I’m beginning to suspect a culprit plugin.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    1. Better Notifications
    2. SB Welcome Email
    3. Jetpack by WordPress
    4. WP Mail (included in bundle)
All other plugins that come standard with WordPress 4.3.1 installation.

    Hi metaco57,
Can you test with all other plugins disabled except for BNFW and re-test?

I see a lot of people are using SB Welcome Email in conjunction with BNFW and I wonder if this is what’s causing the problem.

Let me know how you get on.

I just tested using BNFW with all other plugins disabled, but it still doesn’t work. Is it possible that it has something to do with my domain or my hosting site? How are other people able to send emails without these problems?

    Hi metaco57,
    It shouldn’t do, no.

I’ll continue testing and update this thread if I come up with anything.

    Thanks,
    Jack

If anyone’s still following this thread, can you help me out?

I can’t seem to replicate this issue no matter how hard I try. In order to better test, I need a copy of a database.

Are any of you able to send me one via the contact form on my website?
Alternatively, use my email address to send it via WeTransfer.com or something.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hello Everyone,
As I haven’t been able to replicate this issue on a single site version of WordPress, i’m going to close this thread unless anyone else can provide me with a database to test with.

Despite my best attempts, i’ve been unable to replicate this issue on non-multisite installations, but it sounds like a specific configuration on Multisite does work with the ‘New User Registration – For User’ notification. Please see here for details.

If you’re still having issues and are using a single-site WordPress installation, please get in touch with me and send me a copy of your database so that I can continue testing.

    Thanks,
    Jack
