User registration redirecting to network

I have just registered…

https://training.sitequeenstown.co.nz/local-signup

correctly registers a user via email and it send the new user back to

https://training.sitequeenstown.co.nz/wp-activate.php

to activate you your site so its working.

the

https://training.sitequeenstown.co.nz/wp-activate.php

pages has a link to

https://sitequeenstown.co.nz/wp-login.php

which looks good to me.

registering on

https://training.sitequeenstown.co.nz/courses/floor-staff/

takes you to

https://training.sitequeenstown.co.nz/local-signup/

so “

floor-staff

” is a separate subsite on the network or just another page ?

can you explain the network layout/design.

do you have a subfolder or subdomain install for your Network ?
is

sitequeenstown.co.nz

your main site for the network?
or is

training.sitequeenstown.co.nz

your main site for the network?

and attempt to register you get sent to the main site…

I don’t see this happening.. for me going to ..

and attempting to register you get taken to..
https://training.sitequeenstown.co.nz/local-signup/
which is the subsite.

can you give me the exact steps showing where you get taken to the main site during registration from the subsite https://training.sitequeenstown.co.nz

I have taken a screen recording of the process. This is what has been happening to other people on different networks and computers as well. Not sure why yours is staying on the training subdomain but others are being directed to the main network site?

Ok I see now what is happening thanks.

There is another ‘register’ pick on the top menu and this takes you to the standard WordPress registration path that NSUR also picks up from.

The registration pick in the middle of the page is a custom registration that the theme or another plugin is providing. And this is not using NSUR.

Try the top registration link and see if it works for you.

It’s been 2 weeks now so I’ll close this ticket hope you got the functionality you wanted. Come back hear if you have more questions
