User role after expiry?

    I can’t find in the docs or settings what happens after the user expires or cancel? The role should be set to a normal user. This seems something vital.

    Hi @metacofleurcom,

    When a user buys a subscription plan he/she will receive two roles:

    1. New User Default Role -> set in WordPress-> Settings-> General.

    2. Subscription User role -> set in PMS -> Subscription Plans.

    When the subscription plan expires the role set in PMS will be removed, and the user will remain only with the role set in WordPress Settings.

    Now, let me explain the difference between Cancel and Abandon:

    When the user clicks Cancel, no further payments will be made for that subscription and it will expire at its due date. The user continues to have access to what the subscription offers until the expiration date. So in this case, even if they canceled the subscription, but didn’t reach the Expiration date, the user continues to have both User roles (when they reach the expiration date, then the PMS user role will be removed).

    When the user clicks Abandon, the subscription is deleted from their account and the user will?stop having access to what the subscription offers immediately. In this case, the PMS User role will be removed straight away.
