User Role Change Not Saving

    I have a website for a NPO that has about 100 users. We have noticed when we tried to change the roles on some users that it does not save. For instance when we move one from a Member to a Board Member the access is much different, but once they log in they are moved back to the Member role. The site is fairly clean, using a 2012 basic theme, and only a few plugins. One is Nav Menu Roles, however this has been going on before that.

  • This is a problem with the Plugin that is allowing you to create new member roles – “member” and “board member” are not default WP roles.

    You should post your question in the support forum for the Plugin developer, you’re more likely to get a good answer that way.

    No it was another plugin entirely. I found it and deactivated it and it worked fine.
