• Hi!

Awesome plugin. It’s my go-to user role editor. I don’t know if this is a URE issue or not but it’s the most logical cause I can think of.

Three of my clients, all running WooCommerce sites and using URE to manage user roles, have had their user profile’s User Role change from Administrator to None whilst editing the website, seemingly for no reason. I believe they’ve all occured whilst editing a product. They get the default WordPress message: Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

I searched the forums for a similar issue without luck. Have you had this reported before?

    Cheers,

    Joel

    Hi Joel,

The only possible reason I can suppose is the bug included into WooCommerce 3.4.6 which excluded ‘administrator’ role from the list of available roles under WordPress multi-site even for superadmin. Check if your clients work with WC v. 3.4.6 for some reason.

Thanks Vladimir! I’ll check it out and let you know.

The Sow n’ Sow site was running WC Version 3.5.2. Any logging plugins you can recommend that might capture a user role change? I tried Stream on another site that had this issue, D2N, but nothing got logged.

No stress if you don’t have any other ideas. I can easily fix it manually.
