  • Following up on this when we updated user role editor to latest version we were not able to log into the admin panel of our site which users user meta.

Suspect due to this “User capabilities editor updated to support capabilities beyond the user roles – capabilities added by other plugins directly to the users, or deleted from the user roles.”

Am I to assume that this was intentional and they won’t work together as user role won’t allow user meta to supercede?

    Thanks for the information.
Could you please give more details? Some example how do you use user-meta, which I may repeat on my test site in order to analyse and isolate the problem, is appreciated.

we use it as the login to our site

I see this message at the ‘Login’ tab of the ‘User Meta’ plugin:
    >> This feature is only supported in Pro version
Do you use Pro version of ‘User Meta’? If ‘Yes’, is it possible for you to send it to me for evaluation?

Latest update doesn’t work nicely with user meta

I created custom user profile with extra field, added and save data via front-end with “User Meta”. Then I added the role and capability to that user via User Role Editor. “User Meta” custom fields and data is still there they should be. I need more details on your problem.

this is all the same problem – that was a developer so i jumped in — email me at kelly at remotestylist.com and i’ll send you the plugin
