• Hello Vladimir (@shinephp),
First of all, congrats for your plugin. It’s really good!
Let me see if you can help me with this situation:

I have a site with Eduma Theme+LearnPress LMS plugin and I’ve installed User Role Editor plugin to create an ‘almost’ admin role to some users and the plugin just worked fine!

But certain functions of LearnPress doesn’t work if the user are not the _Administrator_ itself! Even if all Admin capabilities are selected for a giving role, some functions still don’t work.

Also, another add-on, ThimPress WP Events Manager has the same situation: only grants access if the user has an Administrator role. I can’t grant admin rights for everybody and I was wondering if the User Role PRO version could solve that situation.

Have you experimented similar situation in other sites?
    I appreciate your quick reply.
    Thank you,
    John

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the feedback.

If plugin checks directly ‘administrator’ role, URE will not help (including Pro version). Workarounds: use suitable filter to replace ‘administrator’ role with your own, if plugin offers such filter or edit plugin source code.

URE Pro may be helpful in case if plugin uses not ‘administrator’ role but critical capability like ‘manage_options’, etc.

Plugin may use own permission management module as upper level to WordPress roles and capabilities. Look if it’s not the case for LMS plugin. Try to get support from its author.
