User role not displaying proper

    Hi

    I am using user role editor plugin with woocommerce. Woocommerce provide shop manager user. I have checked with your plugin. but it name showing different, don’t know why may be happen with malicious ?

    Confused with name, it is virus or something ?

    Hi,

    1st of all, I hope that your site is not hacked.

    But, I had a report from one user yesterday that few roles names were changed similar way. As a result his hosting support investigation:
    One file at the site was infected with malicious code:
    wp-content/plugins/PW-Advanced-Woocommerce-Reporting-System/includes/actions.php
    and via that script new user was added and granted ‘administrator’ role, some roles were changed.

    Look if any unknown user has ‘administrator’ role was appeared at your site.
    Check roles for changes.
    Compare site files with an older clear backup or clear copies from plugins/theme vendors to exclude any infected if there exist.

    Yes you are right…

    my site is not hacked but user role accessibily changed like Subscriber users, Customer user access my admin dashboard

    but I am not using PW-Advanced-Woocommerce-Reporting plugin. so why this happen ?

    Any idea?
