• Hi,

I know this was a fix in the update, however this is still happening, but the users capabilities still remain. Where as before, the user role and capabilities would reset to subscriber.

I have noticed that this only happens when a user tries to access my site with http rather than https.

Any tips on how to prevent this would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry, I did not understand a problem. Can you please send step by step description, what do you (or your user) do, what is the result of your action and what is wrong?

I am facing the same problem. Steps to reproduce the issue.

    1) Added Role “Site-Super-admin” to the user “test”
    2) When logged in to site as “test”, the role is reset to “Subscriber”

    I can not repeat.
Is it WordPress multisite? Are other users permissions related plugins active?

No , we had bbpress and membermouse plugins. Those are not relate to users roles.

Let me know if you find any other plug-ins will conflict with user role editor plug-in.

I don’t wish to subscribe for membermouse just for testing it.
Will issue repeat if you deactivate membermouse plugin temporally?
