User Role "Subscriber"

I’m having a problem with S2 Member roles. The majority of my members register as sellers. That works perfectly, however when they upgrade to receive the S2 member features, S2 member is changing their role to “subscriber”. This is problematic as they no longer have access to any of the seller features. How fix S2 member defaulting on “Subscriber” role?
