    I have a test user who has used the register form and has been approved.

    I cannot change him to any role other than Subscriber?

    Hi @derekr,

    You can change the role of an existing user from the User Manager page in RegistrationMagic backend. To set the default role of users registering through a particular form, set Assign WordPress User Role in the form’s Dashboard -> Accounts settings.
