User Roles to import business names from spreadsheet

    Hello,

    Great plugin!

    We have a contractor who will be adding businesses to our directory by importing for a CSV, that we don’t want to have any other editing rights on our site. We use the User Role Manager plugin in.

    What rights do we need to give the user so they can import a spreadsheet?

    Would it be best to create a new user call “Business Directory Editor” and just give them the rights that you recommend?

    Hi lshr,

    The best suggestion I can make here is to use Adminimize plugin to restrict access to certain areas of WP admin. We don’t use any role besides admin to restrict that access, as we don’t normally allow for non-admin users to change things about the listings (like CSV imports)

    Try that and see if it gives you want you need.
